Chowder House has been a seafood favorite in the Utica/Rome area for over 20 years. When Chowder House opened back in 1991, owner Jim, his brother Dave, and his wife created recipes for beer battered fish, chowders and soups.
The menu has come a long way since then. Featuring succulent shrimp, spicy garlic mussels, and an endless array of cocktails & spirits, Chowder House has something to please everyone who steps foot inside. You don’t have to be a seafood lover either. Chowder House also serves steaks such as the 10 oz. center cut New York strip steak and a complete vegetarian delight menu featuring primavera, portabella penne and stuffed zucchini.
